Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that India is emerging as a hub for start-ups which shows the thirst for innovation. While addressing a convocation ceremony at IIT Bombay, PM Modi said, “Innovation is the buzz-word of the 21st century. Any society which does not innovate will stagnate. India is emerging as a hub for start-ups which shows the thirst for innovation. We must make India the most attractive destination for innovation and enterprise.” PM Modi added, “My appeal to youngsters is - Innovate in India, Innovate for humanity, from mitigating climate change to ensuring better agricultural productivity, from cleaner energy to water conservation, from combating malnutrition to effective waste management.” Prime Minister Modi arrived in Mumbai on Saturday morning, where he was received by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
